Station Marketplace Stocks Up On Fish, Furniture and Fashion

March 24, 2010

Talk about a bizarre bazaar.

EverQuest II revealed yesterday four more items added to its Station Marketplace cash shop, and it seems these will add yet another layer of eccentric utility for players wise enough to buy them.

Fishy Business

The legendary staff Fishy Business, for instance, lets you smack opponents silly till they’re covered in scales. I can just imagine meeting this in the battlefield and feeling shame as I get pummeled by a food item. You won’t look at fish the same way again when you taste its salty beating.

Ebony Dining Room Set

But if you’re planning to acquire an Ebony Dining Room Set, better leave your Fishy Business in the deep freezer unless you want a stinky upholstery. The new dining set looks regal yet comfortable with its four plush-covered seats and polished long table. It also comes with a peripheral cabinet and two benches—for those odd times when you feel like having a picnic indoors.

Armbands and Petamorph Wand: Harpy

The last two items are more for appearances than function. A pair of golden armbands are up for grabs at the Station Marketplace and can serve as a bicep enhancer. Complete the exotic adventurer look with a bad-ass pet by your side using the new Petamorph Wand: Harpy, which turns your combat pet into a harpy for two hours. But do avoid battles when possible—the armbands restrict heavy forward lifting and the harpy illusion wears off when your pet is killed.

If none of these new items tickle your fancy, look over the full list of goods currently on offer at the Station Marketplace or just type /marketplace in game.
